Diana Marsala
I've loved math and science ever since I can remember.
In eighth grade I entered my high school's STEM academy
then joined a robotics team that won state and national awards.
I was even named a World Championship Dean's List Finalist.
I graduated in 2016 as Valedictorian, extremely
thankful for my experience in robotics and STEM in high school.
I am now a student at the University of Pennsylvania
pursuing a BA in Linguistics with a minor in Mathematics,
a BAS in Computer Science, and an MSE in Computer Science.
I conducted both canine behavior research and
computational neuroscience research during my freshman year
and was hired as a computer science teaching assistant.
I'm currently involved in natural language processing research.
In my free time, find me making geometric art or rock-climbing, attending hackathons all across North America,
and organizing PennApps right here in Philadelphia.
